Refund policy
Returns
To be eligible for a return, your product must be unused, not installed, and in the same condition that you received it, including all original packaging and supplied components. Products that have been installed, fitted, or used are not eligible for return.
Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required for all returns.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is deemed faulty or incorrect.
To request a return, please contact us at info@cmpautoengineering.com. Returns must be approved prior to being sent back. Products returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Damages, Incorrect or Faulty Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, contact us immediately at info@cmpautoengineering.com so we can assess the issue and resolve it promptly.
Warranty Policy
All products are covered by a limited warranty from the date of purchase (not the date of installation).
Warranty coverage includes:

5-Year Structural Warranty
Covers manufacturing defects and structural failures. -
12-Month Warranty on Bearings and Ball Joints
If your bearings, rod ends or ball joints fail outside of warranty, we do stock replacements for purchase.
This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover:
- Incorrect installation
- Improper use, misuse, abuse, or accident damage
- Motorsport or competition use
- Normal wear and tear
- Corrosion due to environmental exposure
- Damage caused by improper maintenance or modification
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
If a product is found to be defective under warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective component. The warranty does not cover labour costs, installation costs, freight costs, or any associated expenses.
Australian Consumer Law
Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
However, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product has a major failure, including where the product:
- Has a problem that would have stopped someone from purchasing it had they known about it
- Is unsafe
- Is significantly different from the description or sample
- Does not perform as described and cannot be easily remedied
If the problem is not major, we will repair the product within a reasonable timeframe. If it is not repaired within a reasonable timeframe, you may choose a refund or replacement.
You may also choose to keep the product and receive compensation for any reduction in value where applicable.
