F8X Adjustable Toe/Trailing Arms
If you want to maximise the rear wheel grip of your F8X M2, M3 or M4 BMW, then CMP's solid mounted adjustable toe/trailing arms should be at the top of your list.
If being used as a toe arm, the major performance gain from these arms isn't that their adjustable but rather that they replace the soft rubber bush in the factory arm. While the previous generation of M cars had a solid bearing mounted toe arm, the F8X did not although, with the benefit of a solid mounted subframe resulting in toe in under acceleration and out under braking. Although not significant, this can be felt when the back end 'squirms' under hard throttle.
Upgrading to our toe arms will provide far more constant toe geometry for better rear wheel grip when putting power down or going through bends. We suggest pairing this with out lower camber arm inner ball joint upgrade to further control toe & camber geometry.
Our toe/trailing arms are made of 6061-T6 Aluminium that is bored hollow making them 15% lighter than factory units and more rigid. We use 5/8", 2-piece chromoly steel, PTFE lined (self lubricating) rod ends sourced from the UK with aluminium misalignment spaces.
To seal your bearings from the elements and maximise bearing life we suggest grabbing a set of rod end boots. These are ideal for street cars driven in all weather conditions.
